Terms and Conditions
§ 1 Scope
These General Terms and Conditions apply to all contracts you conclude with us regarding the use of the software Haven and associated services.
§ 2 Subject Matter of the Contract
Haven is software for repairing damaged video files. The software is provided as a locally installed application for macOS and Windows. The scope of functions results from the respective current product description.
§ 3 Conclusion of Contract
A usage contract is concluded upon the purchase of a plan (single repair, session, or Pro). You will receive confirmation by email.
§ 4 Prices and Payment
The prices stated at the time of the order apply. Payment is made via our payment service provider Stripe. Prices include statutory value added tax.
§ 5 Right of Withdrawal
Consumers are entitled to the statutory right of withdrawal. You can find details in our Right of Withdrawal.
§ 6 Warranty
We warrant that the software essentially has the properties assured in the product description. Since video repair naturally depends on the condition of the damaged file, we do not guarantee a successful repair in every individual case. You see the repair result before purchase — there is no guarantee that a particular result can be produced.
§ 7 Liability
We are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence as well as in accordance with the provisions of the German Product Liability Act. In the case of slight negligence, we are liable only for the breach of essential contractual obligations and limited to the foreseeable damage typical for the contract.
§ 8 30-Day Money-Back Guarantee
Independently of the statutory right of withdrawal, we grant you a money-back guarantee within 30 days of purchase. Send a short message to support@haven.app; no reason is required.
§ 9 Final Provisions
German law applies. The place of jurisdiction for merchants is [registered office]. Should individual provisions be invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected.
